My father and I are interested in doing the entire trail this June. How much of the Cowboy Trail has been finished? If I were to arrive in Omaha what would be the easiest way to get to trail. How could we get back to Omaha from the finish line? Thank you for the support?

There are much better trails, that are supported by the State and local communities. Trails that are maintained and unauthorized vehicles kept off. The KATY in Missouri is fantastic. The GAP/C&O Canal is another one. The Mickelson trail in South Dakota. Don't waste your valuable time and money that are adverse to the cycling community.

I agree with the reply. I would not waste the money or time on the Cowboy Trail The Katy Trail in MO, the Mickelson Trail in SD are so awesome and well maintained.
