Cowboy Train - Chadron to Valentine

Wondering about the trail from Chadron to Valentine. Is it bikeable?

I've ridden the GAP 3x and the GAP and C&O from DC to Pittsburgh to give an idea of my experience.

I rode Norfolk to Valentine this year and we ended up riding mostly hwy20 instead of the cowboy trail. The trail west of Valentine is not finished, but hwy20 had great shoulders and traffic is not very heavy in that part of the state. Beautiful Sandhills scenery.
