Two of us will head out next week on our annual out and back adventure. I just wondered what the goathead situation on the trail is this year. This is my 9th year and in the beginning it was horrendous, but much, much better the last few years due to much better trail maintenance. I haven't seen it mentioned this year so I'm assuming(hoping) that the trail is in good shape again?

Well, back in June I picked up exactly 1 of those evil things. And the trail was in fine shape.
