The city park is OK but not a place I would revisit. Located about 1 miles from the trailhead outside of town. Cost is $10 per night, there are bathrooms and showers, they need to be updated. No electricity. The camping areas have plenty of shade and tables but flat ground is hard to find.

It is popular with the locals and you will have many people driving around the loop at night for no reason at all, and many people enjoy running their dogs loose. The park is located in a low spot and you may have to walk it up the hill to get back into town.
