Ainsworth to Long Pine is the best 10 miles of the Cowboy Trail because the trail is away from the highway. On my ride I saw horses, cattle, a garter snake, birds and a lonely coyote. The Sandhills start on the south and it is fun to ride the trestle over Pine Creek. It is a fun family ride.
